Surgical Procedures for folks that cannot afford hospital care

GHE pledges to fund 100 surgeries of every category (cardiac, neuro, orthopedic etc.) at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Whitefield, Bangalore. This atĀ SSSIHMS Whitefield provides health care to the poor & needy with the principle of love & humility as laid down by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. In 2024, this Temple of Healing, has seen an increase in the variety & number of patients treated from across India and a few from across the borders as well. In the 12 operating rooms an average of 25 surgical procedures are performed daily. Global Health and Education Joins Hands with United Way Bengaluru

Global Health and Education is proud to announce its strategic partnership with United Way of Bengaluru to fortify healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions of India. Through a dedicated contribution, we are providing the essential capital and resource-mapping required to enhance medical service delivery for vulnerable populations. Our role extends beyond financial support; we serve as a catalyst for systemic improvement, ensuring that these funds are meticulously applied toward high-impact medical facilities and equipment. By aligning our global health objectives with United Way’s local expertise, Global Health and Education is actively bridging the gap between marginalized communities and the quality medical care they deserve.

Empowering Healthcare through Technology

Through our ongoing commitment to global wellness, Global Health and Education successfully facilitated a significant technology grant to the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS) in Bengaluru. By gifting a suite of high-performance computers, high-speed scanners, and versatile Android tablets, we have helped modernize the facility’s digital infrastructure and streamlined patient data management. This contribution has profoundly touched the lives of countless patients and medical professionals, ensuring that world-class healthcare is supported by the efficiency and precision of modern technology, ultimately bringing hope and healing to those who need it most.

Restoring Mobility: The Gift of Movement at SSSIHMS

Global Health and Education is shining a light on the Orthopaedics Department at SSSIHMS, Whitefield, where many patients are currently awaiting vital joint replacement surgeries. As patient inflow has steadily increased, the waiting list now extends to over a year. To meet this growing need, we are inviting our community to sponsor these life-altering procedures. With each surgery costing approximately INR 75,000, your support provides more than just medical care; it restores the dignity and independence of a patient in need. Every donation is an investment in a life-changing transformation, moving a patient from a long waiting list into a future of pain-free mobility.

Expanding Horizons: Empowerment through Mentorship and Outreach

Global Health and Education is thrilled to announce a dual-track initiative launching this year, focused on bridging the guidance gap for the next generation. We are currently coordinating with a few High Schools in the District of Columbia (DC), to meet with guidance counselors. By listening directly to their insights, we aim to spend the summer developing customized resources and programs that address students’ specific needs in time for the September school reopening.

In tandem with this outreach, we are launching a dynamic podcast series designed to demystify career paths and the evolving professional landscape. Featuring interviews with experts—including doctors, engineers, and financial analysts—the series will explore their educational journeys, daily challenges, and the excitement of their fields. Special focus will be placed on supporting first-generation college students, exploring the practical benefits of trade schools, and navigating the transformative impact of AI on society. Our goal is to provide students with a clear roadmap to success, ensuring they are prepared for the jobs of today and the innovations of tomorrow.
